Arinsal is famous for being one of the most attractive and breathtaking villages in Andorra. Most resorts in Andora have been modernised and development has taken place in the past decade but Arinsal has managed to keep its traditional architecture, which makes it stand out from them all. Although not much has been changed in Arinsal’s architecture, the ski area however, has been improved dramatically in recent years as Andorran skiing has moved more upmarket. New lifts have been installed and the professionalism the ski areas are managed with has reached much higher standards. This may have altered Arinsal's cheap and cheerful image slightly but it still remains a fun place to stay for both families and couples.
