Saalbach, located in Austria and its close neighbour, Hinterglemm, have united in the picturesque Glemmtal Valley to form one of the liveliest ski resorts in Europe, which is extremely popular with Dutch, German and Scandinavian tourists. The valley sides of Saalbach offers a wide variety of ski slopes suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers. The resort also offers excellent snowmaking equipment on request, which ensures good coverage in the sunshine. Saalbach has more than 125 miles of ski trails, which are linked by modern lifts, mainly suited to intermediate level skiers.
