St Anton is one of the most popular destinations for British skiers and snowboarders wishing to visit Austria. Along with its close by neighbours, Lech and Zürs, St Anton offers great skiing for skiers of intermediate and advanced levels but not the best place for beginners as there are not many off-slope facilities. St Anton is situated along the bottom of a beautiful yet narrow valley, and it’s Mecca for skiers who are attracted by the excellent off-piste runs, which are the best that Austria has to offer. St Anton's south-facing slopes are known for getting slushy by the end of the day especially during spring, and this is why the many bars situated on the slopes above the town get busy and packed by around 3pm. St Anton is a small but welcoming resort with great facilities and tasty food.
