Protaras is a beautiful resort situated on the south east coast of Cyprus and has all the trappings of the larger, livelier resorts such as Ayia Napa, which is only a few minutes drive away. Protaras is far more family friendly and has the best beach on the whole island. Protaras is actually a town that was built on a piece of flat land especially for the purpose of catering for British holidaymakers.
