Gouvia is one of Corfu’s more laid back resorts located just 5 miles from Corfu Town. Catering to the many families that visit during the summer months, Gouvia’s pebble beaches make for safe swimming for young children and are great for snorkeling, windsurfing and water skiing. The family presence gives Gouvia a comparatively mellow night life however the various bars and discos within the town centre are enough to keep all ages on their feet well into the evening. Being Corfu’s main marina means there are plenty of impressive yachts to marvel at and the remnants of the nearby Venetian shipyard make an interesting destination after a boat trip exploring nearby secluded coves and beaches.
