Kavos, on the southern tip of the Greek Ionian island of Corfu, is the Islands liveliest resort. Kavos is brimming with pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants all catering for the British under-25. The sea around Kavos is warm, shallow and great for swimming and water sports. On the whole the restaurants in Kavos serve tourist-friendly cuisine and there are plenty of packed bars and nightclubs serving very reasonably priced alcohol. Regular buses link Kavos to Corfu Town where visitors will find more shopping, local cuisine and places of historical interest. Kavos is located 47km south of Corfu Airport and it is easy to reach by taxi, private transfer, bus or hire car. Hiring a car is the best way to see the most of Corfu. There are also trips to other islands and water sport excursions available.
