Analipsi is situated on the northern coast of Crete in Greece. Easter is a great time to visit Analipsi with local people celebrating this traditional Greek Orthodox festival. Analipsi remains mostly unspoilt with a white sandy beach and calm seas, perfect for swimming. The village is made up of a few shops, bars, restaurants and tavernas serving local food and “tourist-friendly” alternatives. There are some bigger hotels but a lot of the accommodation is found in small family run aparthotels and B&Bs. Analipsi is the perfect base for exploring the rest of Crete.
