Kefalos is located on the south-west coast of Kos Island in Greece. This purpose-built resort is famous for its beach which is perfect for water sports especially windsurfing. Although there are some small nightclubs, this laid back resort is aimed at families, couples and groups looking for a relaxing beach holiday. Excursions from Kefalos can be made to the Astypalia amphitheatre, the hot springs at Agios Fokas, Aspri Petra Cave, and the ancient site at Asklepeion.
