Kos is one of the largest of the islands that characterise Greece. With a range of resorts, including Kos Town, Kefalos and Psalidi, there is something for everyone from a quiet beach holiday, to a clubbing holiday. And with activities ranging from sightseeing ancient ruins to scuba diving, families, couples and groups will all find plenty to do. The island has two water parks which appeal to people of all ages. The local, fresh seafood and authentic Greek cuisine is amazing and there are plenty of other options including fast food and Chinese. The island’s airport is centrally located with excellent connections to the major resorts by taxi, bus and private transfer. From Kos it is possible to make day trips to other Greek islands as well as to Turkey. There are plenty of diving and sailing excursions available and an array of archaeological sites to visit.
