Limone is a picturesue town on the shores of Lake Garda in northern Italy. Limone is a great base for exploring this wine-producing region. The lake provides excellent conditions for water sports including windsurfing and diving and is safe to swim in. There are plenty of restaurants and bars where visitors can sample the local cuisine and wines. Venice and Milan airports are under 2 hours away from Limone by car. From Limone it is possible to take a cable car up Monte Baldo for stunning views of the town and walking trails to the summit. The beautiful, romantic city of Verona is also short drive from Limone.
