Qawra is a small town in the north of Malta Island in the Mediterranean Sea. Qawra is actually slightly inland but the sea has eaten away a secluded cove with beautiful clear bathing pools and steep cliffs, ideal for diving, snorkelling, swimming and walking along the rugged coastline. Qawra is popular with families, couples and groups alike. The town itself has plenty of bars and excellent restaurants. A short 500 metres along the coast is Bugibba with its busier nightlife and bright lights. Qawra is easily reached from Malta Airport by hire car or private transfer.
