Agadir is known for its very stunning and clean beach; but it tends to attract the wrong kind of visitors. Due to an earthquake in 1960s, Agadir has been turned into a completely modern city. It is also full of tourists all year round, especially German tourists. It does however have brilliant luxury hotels from 4 to 6 stars, where a wide range of activities are organized and the nightlife is alive. There you ill also find beautiful golf courses for all the golf fans. But if you are visiting Morocco, looking for culture and traditional Moroccan architecture then Agadir is not the place to visit. Agadir is also a great point in Morocco to make daytrips from or to close by popular cities such as the old walled city of Taroudannt, Paradise valley and the Massa Lagoon.
