Faro is a city in southern Portugal and is the capital of the Algarve region. Faro Airport is only 7km to the west of the city and is one of the major airports in Portugal. Faro, in the region of Algarve is one the warmest parts of Portugal which makes it a very popular place to stay. There are some really nice attractions to staying in the city of Faro like the Faro Marina which is a nice place to chill out and enjoy, there are also a number of historical buildings as well as museums like the Infante Dom Henrique.
