Corralejo is found on the northern coast of Fuerteventura, one of the Canaries. Easily the liveliest resort of Fuerteventura, with good bars and restaurants, but still not as touristy as some of the resorts on other Canary Islands, Corralejo has beautiful, white, sandy beaches, perfect for surfing and other water sports. Families, couples, groups and individual travellers looking for a beach holiday with lots of good food and drink thrown in, will love Corralejo. Try the local fresh seafood and the Canarian Ron Miel (honey rum). Fuerteventura Airport is 41km from Corralejo and is easily reached by taxi or private transfer. There are also buses available. Take a ferry to Lobos Island and see the stunning Volcano crater and Lanzarote to see the volcanic black sands. La Oliva is a good excursion, with a volcano and windmills to see.
