Costa Brava is a stunning holiday resort that stretches for 100 miles along the beautiful shores of Catalonia in Spain's north-eastern corner just north of Barcelona. Costa Brava is full of resort developments and modern marinas catering to package tourists, but lacks green hillsides. However, Costa Brava does offer wild cliffs, coves, caves, and has the reputation as one of Europe's busiest holiday destinations and therefore is most suitable for younger groups or couples. The food here is fantastic. On offer there is sardines and delicious lobster, but specialties’ also include local wild game, boar, duck and rabbit, and a variety of tasty wines.
