Murcia is a city in the southeast of Spain with lots great attractions. Murcia is served by the Murcia-San Javier Airport 45km from Murcia which is about half an hour away by car. Murcia receives one of the least amounts of rain in the whole of Spain and also enjoys sunshine almost all year round. Must see attractions include the 18th Century Bishop’s Palace, the Cathedral of the Diocese of Cartagena and the beautiful landscaped square, Glorieta. Although it is a small town, Murcia has a very good nightlife with some really good bars and clubs and you can also find reasonable accommodation in the city. Murcia would ideally suit the younger crowd as it is generally a student town with many clubs and bars.
