Aurora is the third most populous city in Colorado and is located in the centre of the state and is often considered to be a large suburb of Denver. Aurora is well located for visitors to see the most of the state of Colorado without being trapped in the big smoke of Denver. Aurora has its own symphony orchestra and the arts in general play an important role here. The two reservoirs in Aurora are perfect for water sports, particularly windsurfing. Other activities in and around Aurora include nature trails, golf and the Plains Conservation Centre.
